Project Brief
The Activity Cloud membership platform was concepted to provide a consistent way for membership-based organizations — think YMCAs — to track and stay in touch with their members and improve retention rates. I was the primary UI designer for the project as a member of the UX team at ACTIVE Network.
Process
After testing early versions of the product, we learned more about our users and how they function on a day-to-day basis. We found out the primary and most immediate tool they needed was a way to work through their list of members and have an entry point for conversations.
Once we learned this, we took a step back as a product team and re-evaluated what was working and what wasn’t and rebuilt tour product to better serve our users.
Final UI Design
I designed the product UI based on our feedback from customers and helped refine the product to focus more on user’s needs. The end-result was a marketable product we could sell to YMCA organizations.
