Project Brief
ACTIVE Network acquired Virtual Event Bags, now ACTIVE Engagement Platform, in December 2015 and I spent a large portion of 2016 incorporating it into our product style guide and simplifying the product to improve the user experience.
Process
One of our first objectives was to consolidate and update a redundant set of AUIs and to clean up the product incrementally where we could. To accomplish this, we figured out what pages within the product could be consolidated where it made the most sense, and, in turn, re-categorizing the pages into buckets to simplify the navigation.
Final UI Design
Many of the enhancements made to the product allowed for ongoing integration into the suite of products ACTIVE offers, helping to grow future business opportunites for the platform.
